Josie Schuman, Managing Editor

Meet Josie Schuman, our Managing Editor. She’s a senior from Bedford, Ohio studying Adolescent/Young Adult Education and English with a minor in Spanish. Josie nervously began her journey with the newspaper last year as the Op/Ed editor (and the only new person on staff). She has since found her passion for journalism and a family in The Carroll News! When she’s not writing, Josie keeps busy with other on-campus activities. She loves planning activities for the Honors Program, singing in the Sweet Carrollines acapella group and sharpening her Spanish language skills. After graduation, she plans on pursuing her dream as a high school English teacher—hopefully as the advisor for the school paper! Josie’s ideal day is reading a book on the beach with a margarita in hand.
