John Carroll University is known for its gorgeous and friendly campus during the day, but what about the campus at night? Amelia Marlow ‘25 compiled a series of images that showcase the places on campus that are not as well-lit as other places on campus.
The idea was inspired by the earlier sunset during the winter time and those late-night classes that many experience. Marlow’s photography captures a great variety of scenes on campus with a few places one may not notice at first. The collection also shows the campus in a different and mysterious light while noting places like the construction.
Highlighting hidden details during the day, these images range from Hamlin Quad, on top of the clock tower and Admin Drive behind Rodman Hall. The photos ultimately serve as a call to action as there are areas where John Carroll needs to add more light.
From the gorgeous campus during the day, to the eerie unlit areas at night, John Carroll has a variety of sights to see no matter the hour.
