Overall Prediction Results: 21-11
Week Two Prediction Results: 8-8
My Week Two predictions were abysmal although many of the game winners I had picked incorrectly lost by a touchdown or less. In week three, I am looking to make more accurate predictions and do better.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Chicago Bears
In this game, two young, and extremely talented, quarterbacks battle it out for a chance to put their team back in play to win their respective divisions. However, the Bears’ defense has looked much better than the Colts’ Last week, Anthony Richardson and the Colts were beaten by a backup quarterback who struggles with accuracy downfield. They will drop another game and move to 0-3 on the year.
Bears win 28-13
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Denver Broncos
Tampa Bay is coming off a win against arguably the best team in the NFC while the Broncos have struggled offensively early in the season. I am looking for a big day out of Baker Mayfield for Tampa and he will lead the Buccaneers to a 3-0 start.
Buccaneers win 31-10
Los Angeles Chargers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
Two undefeated teams enter this game in a position to retain the #1 seed in their respective divisions early on in the season. Considering I have picked against Pittsburgh twice now and been wrong both times, this week I will learn from my mistakes. I am picking Pittsburgh to win at home versus the Chargers.
Steelers win 19-13
Philadelphia Eagles vs. New Orleans Saints
The Eagles are coming off a disappointing last minute loss to Atlanta on Monday Night Football. The Saints dominated one of the best defenses in the league versus the Cowboys on Sunday. In this game the Saints will show that they are not pretenders and win again at home.
Saints win 34-24
New York Giants vs. Cleveland Browns
The Browns are coming off a quality win against Jacksonville, where their defense played well and won them the game. The Giants became the only team in NFL history to score three touchdowns without allowing one and still lost the game. Both offenses will struggle but Cleveland will win.
Browns win 27-7
Green Bay Packers vs. Tennessee Titans
The Packers are coming off an outstanding win with a backup quarterback versus the Colts. The Titans have been plagued by turnovers the first two games of the season. Due to the Titans’ turnover problem the obvious pick is the Packers to win.
Packers win 24-14
Houston Texans vs. Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota shocked the world last week beating the 49ers although San Francisco was depleted due to injuries. The Texans offense has been sharp, led by star quarterback CJ Stroud Texans will win in a close one.
Texans win 21-14
Sunday, Sept. 15 at 4:05 p.m. and 4:25 p.m.
Miami Dolphins vs. Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks are coming off another close victory this past week. The Dolphins lost their quarterback to yet another concussion, putting him out of action for the foreseeable future. The Seahawks will ‘squish the fish’ and win.
Seahawks win 24-10
Carolina Panthers vs. Las Vegas Raiders
Both the Panthers and Raiders have struggled severely offensively. Carolina just recently replaced their quarterback Bryce Young with Andy Dalton and I expect their offense to be much more efficient.
Panthers win 24-13
San Francisco 49ers vs. Los Angeles Rams
The Rams got blown out by the Cardinals and San Francisco got upset by the Minnesota Vikings. The Rams are severely beat up as are the 49ers, but San Francisco is healthier so they will win.
49ers win 28-14
Detroit Lions vs. Arizona Cardinals
Arizona had an offensive explosion last week as rookie receiver Marvin Harrison Jr had 2 touchdowns and over 100 yards receiving. The Lions had a rough loss last week to Tampa Bay and I expect them to bounce back in a big way. The Lions will win big this week.
Lions win 31-20
Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys
The Ravens blew a late 4th quarter lead last week to the Raiders and have started 0-2 for the first time in the Lamar Jackson era. The Cowboys defense got obliterated last week versus the Saints and I expect them to be much better this week. The Cowboys will bring the heat against Jackson and win.
Cowboys win 35-24
Sunday, Sept. 22 at 8:20 p.m.
Kansas Chiefs vs. Atlanta Falcons
Patrick Mahomes and company are off to a hot start for this season, and they go onto the road to play the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons had an impressive game-winning drive in Philadelphia last week. I think the Chiefs will win a close one again.
Chiefs win 35-31
Monday, Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. & 8:15 p.m.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Buffalo Bills
Jacksonville has struggled to start the year in their first two games, while the Bills have dominated early. The Bills will be the best team that they have played by far and their struggles will continue as they move to 0-3 on the year.
Bills win 28-17
Washington Commanders vs. Cincinnati Bengals
Washington picked up their first win last week versus the Giants without scoring a touchdown while their kicker hit seven field goals. The Bengals loss had a controversial ending on a pass interference call that put the Chiefs in field goal range. The penalty setup kicker Harrison Butker to hit the game winner as time expired. I think the Bengals will bounce back this week in a big way. The Bengals will win.
Bengals win 28-21
