A security advisory was issued Sunday by the John Carroll University Police Department following two vehicle break-ins on campus.

According to officials, the incidents occurred at approximately 12:26 a.m. in the Dolan West parking lot at John Carroll University. Campus police reported that two vehicles were broken into during the overnight hours.

Officers responding to the scene located and detained a juvenile suspect in connection with the incident. Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing and no additional details have been released at this time.

University police advised the campus community to remain aware of their surroundings and to secure personal property as the investigation continues.
