Women’s Track and Field
Abby Schroff ’26

Senior Abby Schroff broke the school record in the 3000-meter run with a time of 10:00.85 while competing at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at Boston University on Feb. 13 . She also ran in the women’s mile with a time of 4:58.77. Schroff teamed up at Tufts University with Sandra King ’28, Morgan Dobos ’26 and Alyssa Vis ’26 on Feb. 14, running the 1600-meter leg of the distance medley relay after her record-breaking performance on Friday.
Men’s Track and Field
Sam Su ’28

Sophomore Sam Su also had an exciting Friday the 13th at Boston University, running a personal best in the men’s mile with a time of 4:08.55. Su, with a time of 4:08.55, is currently ranked 22nd in all of Division III and the second-fastest mile runner in John Carroll history.
Men’s Swimming and Diving
Bart Kubis ’27

Junior Bart Kubis led the Men’s Swimming and Diving team as the first NCAC individual champion not from Denison or Kenyon since 2020. Kubis was crowned a champion in the 200-meter breaststroke, swimming a time of 2:00.78 at the NCAC Conference meet at Denison University on Feb. 14. Men’s Swimming and Diving finished third overall with 1192.5 points behind Denison (1958.5) and Kenyon (1741.5).
Women’s Wrestling
Taylor MacAdam ’29

First year Taylor MacAdam landed first place for the 103-pound weight class at the AMCC Championships, making history as JCU’s first female conference champion in the history of the program. She led the team to a fourth place finish overall on Feb. 7.
