The Beauty Outside of the Cleveland Museum of Art

Spring is (almost) here. Beautiful weather, fun springtime adventures and new opportunities have arrived for students at JCU. This past weekend, Shannon Callaghan ‘22 and I took a trip to University Circle to walk around outside the Cleveland Museum of Art. A reflecting pool, beautiful architecture and elaborate statues decorate the grounds outside of the museum.

As seen from across its reflecting pool, the Cleveland Museum of Art stands strong amidst a grey Ohio sky.

Lampposts, discolored over time, stand around the grounds of the art museum.

Bushes, hedges and a stone walkway lead visitors from the reflecting pool to the art museum.

There are two paths for visitors to walk around the campus: The lower path brings visitors directly along the waterline while the higher path brings visitors through some foliage.
