Meet Anna Meyer. Anna is a senior at John Carroll University, double majoring in digital media communication and political science with a minor in leadership development. Outside of the Carroll News, Anna is very involved in the JCU Sports Information Department, where she does a lot of play-by-play broadcasting, writing, and social media updates for JCU’s athletic teams. In the past, Anna served as the president of John Carroll’s chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists and as the director of communication for John Carroll Student Government. Previously, Anna has interned at Cleveland’s NBC station WKYC, ESPN Cleveland, and has done high school freelance work for cleveland.com.
