Alissa Van Dress, Copy Editor
Alissa Van Dress is a sophomore studying Business Marketing with minors in English: Creative Writing, English: Professional Writing and Spanish and Hispanic Studies. In addition to copyediting and writing articles for The Carroll News, Alissa volunteers with the CSSA (Center for Service-Learning and Social Action) as a student liaison and works as a digital engagement ambassador for the JCU Carroll Fund. As a writer, she enjoys tapping into her artistic side. Some of Alissa's favorite creative hobbies include but are not limited to fashion, musical theater, dance, acrobatics and drawing. After graduation, Alissa plans to become a content copywriter and editor for advertisements in the fashion or performing arts industry.
